FOREX vs. The Stock Market
FOREX The Stock Market
The FOREX market operates 24 hours a day, 5 days a week providing you opportunities to trade when you want, day or night. The U.S. Stock Market operates from 9.30am to 4:00pm EST Monday thru Friday. If you work, you will not be able to participate in day-trading the Stock market. This leaves you with few options – either to quit your job or not to trade at all.

The same 7 major currencies are always traded on the FOREX market. This enables you to get a feel for price movement patterns and currency behavior very quickly.

There are over 20,000 securities on the Stock Market, where do you begin?

FOREX, the largest and most liquid market in the world cannot be manipulated. With a daily trade amount in excess of 1.5 trillion dollars - big players such as banks, investment funds, corporations and other financial institutions add to the liquidity and helps sustain long trends within the market. It doesn't matter how many individual traders participate in this market at any point in time - they can't manipulate this market.

On the smaller, less liquid Stock Market, tens of millions of unprofessional investors greatly affect this market by their often-chaotic trades, making it much harder to predict market movement and obtain desired prices.
You can trade on the FOREX market through recessions as well as expansions. It doesn't matter if the economy is strong or weak; profitable opportunities exist in both bullish and bearish conditions. The Stock Market allows you to profit in times of economic growth, but economic development is cyclical - and periods of growth will eventually be replaced by periods of recession. When the Stock market is going down, profit potential is less likely.
FOREX investments will allocate between 10 – 30% (depending on investment objectives) of investment capital at any one time. Because FOREX is traded using leverage you are not required to have big amounts of capital to achieve astounding results. This provides you more risk control with real-time connection to the market 24 hours a day. In stocks, market exposure is 100% of investment capital; meaning at any given time the risk can be total leaving you with very little opportunity to control or recover losses.
